About This Fundraiser

When I first joined Freedom Speakers International (FSI) in 2019, I had no idea that it was going to change my life.

Life had been happening to me. I was looking for ways to make life happen.

Now, three years later, I am co-author of Greenlight to Freedom.

It has been a tremendous struggle for me to get to this point. At the beginning of 2020, I didn’t know where to go with my life. Now I am working part-time with FSI as a Special Assistant and I am an author and public speaker. I am starting a catering business and I am a university student. For the first time, I have enough confidence in myself and also the support of an incredible organization to tell my story publicly.

Special thanks to my co-author Mr. Casey Lartigue for making it happen.

There are so many other North Korean refugees who have been helped by FSI. I hope that more people will support the organization by becoming monthly donors.
