About This Fundraiser
FSI 은 Freedom Speakers International 라는 글로벌 교육단체입니다. 저와 많은 탈북 대학생들이 영어 때문에 대학에서, 취업에서 어려움을 겪고 있는것에 안타까움을 느낀 하버드 출신 미국인 케이시 대표님과, 한국출신 박사과정의 이은구 대표님들이 모든 스팩을 내려 놓고 탈북학생들을 섬기고 있습니다. 지금은 수백명의 원어민 선생님들과 수백명의 탈북 학생들이 TNKR에서 매치되어 영어공부를 하고 있습니다. 저도 TNKR 통하여 지금도 영어공부를 하며 미래를 준비하고 있습니다.
FSI도 규모가 커지고 사무실도 이전을 했는데, 경기가 안 좋은때에 여러분이 보태는 작은 마음들이 큰 힘이됩니다.

FSI (Freedom Speakers International) is an education-based NGO.
Casey, a Harvard graduate, and Eunkoo, a PhD student and expert about North Korea, put their careers on hold to start TNKR. They realized that many North Korean refugees (including myself) struggle because of English when it comes to education and employment opportunities in South Korea.
As of February 2020, more than 1,000 volunteers and 400 North Korean refugees have studied English together in FSI. I am one of those FSI students preparing for my future.
FSI is growing and just moved to a new office. Please help TNKR, Your helping can contribute to helping FSI grow. Let's make Liberty Unification through helping North Korean refugees in South Korea.

Eleven North Korean refugees have set up fundraisers supporting FSI. It is incredible because many of them had no concept of civil society before joining our organization. After studying with volunteers, many of them say they hope to volunteer one day.
Some of them even take that next step--fundraising for FSI!
Who are they? They include published authors, public speakers, human rights activists, YouTubers, and even a former doctor from North Korea.
