About This Fundraiser
Hi everyone! During my Fulbright fellowship in South Korea, I have been volunteering as an English teacher for North Korean defector students once a week. These students are so bright, courageous and full of hope, and it has been my honor to be involved in their new journey in South Korea. The truth is, however, more North Korean refugees are struggling in third countries and need help to resettle.
This Sunday, June 14th, I am running my first 10k(!) in Seoul to help rescue and aid in the resettlement process for North Korean refugees. I would sincerely appreciate it if you would consider donating to my campaign. ALL the funds will be donated to the Citizens' Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR).

안녕하세요~ 제가 대한민국에서 풀브라이트 연구원으로 아동복지법과 시스템을 연구해온지도 어언 10개월이 되어갑니다.
풀브라이트 재단에서 훌륭한 동료들과 동생들을 만나 함께 하늘 꿈학교 라는 곳에서 일주일에 한 번씩 탈북 청소년들을 상대로 영어를 가르치는 자원봉사를 해왔는데, 제가 이번 주 일요일에는 탈북민 정착기금을 위한 마라톤 대회를 나가게 되었습니다 (10킬로만 뛸 예정입니다.)
사실 좀 뒤늦었지만, 제 3국에서 알지모를 고통과 어려움을 겪을 탈북민들의 정착을 돕기 위한 기금모금행사를 병행하고 있습니다. 밑에 링크를 클릭하셔서 기금마련에 동참해주시기를 머리숙여 부탁드립니다. 모금된 기금은 북한인권시민연합을 통해 탈북민들의 정착을 위해 쓰여질 예정입니다.
