About This Fundraiser
Hi all~! As part of the leadership team for Running 4 Resettlement 2015, I'm raising money to bring North Korean refugees safely to South Korea. For the past 2 years, I have volunteered teaching English to defectors-- motivated students who want to attend school alongside their 'brothers' and 'sisters' here in the South. I have also visited the DPRK, and experienced first-hand the warmth and spirit of North Koreans in their own country. These people are some of the kindest and funniest I've ever met-- but it is difficult for them to succeed both at home and in the international community.
On June 14, I've committed to running a 5k in Seoul (me? exercise? who'da thunk it?) to help save North Koreans who have made the brave choice to leave their home in search of better opportunities. Please consider supporting my campaign-- 100% of donations will go directly to rescuing refugees who face repatriation and human trafficking in 3rd countries. Thank you for your contribution!!
