Dear Friends and family,

Having lived in South Korea now for 9 years, it becomes impossible to ignore the plight of our northern neighbors. North Korea and more specifically North Korean refugees need our help.
While the plight of the North Korean refugees may not make headline news like the horrific earthquake in Nepal or the drowning of Libyans in the Mediterranean sea. It is still an ongoing travesty that these refugees live on a daily basis. Just because we don't constantly read about it, doesn't mean it isn't happening or that the North Korean people don't need our help.
This cause is as dear to my heart as the Korean people themselves. (We all know how much I love Koreans^^)

Therefore, I will be running in a 10km race on the 14th June 2015 to raise money and awareness for this cause.
