Samanta English Running For Resettlement

After learning about the struggle many North Korean Defectors face through a LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) presentation during my last year of college, I became interested in learning more about the process North Korean re-settlers go through in order to achieve freedom. Hearing the stories from North Korean re-settlers themselves during the "Painting a Brighter Tomorrow" conference further ignited my interest and desire to help. I'm excited to expose more people to the realities refugees face and raising funds to help as many of them as possible.

Runners for R4R register to run in the Kim Dae-Jung Peace Marathon in Seoul on June 12, while committing to fundraise for Citizens' Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR) Rescue Fund. Our goal is to raise $20,000 total to help 8 North Koreans safely reach South Korea from China, where they face human rights abuses.
