I’m active and social and I like to interact with others. I’m easy going and I love to get to know new people and I want to be friendly with everybody. I also have a need to help others, who need and want it, in any way I possibly can. I want to make a difference and a positive impact to the lives of those in need. I am a very empathic person and it is easy for me to sympathize and try to “step into others’ shoes”. I read books written by North Korean refugees and each story has deeply touched my heart and core. After reading these amazing stories of survival, I have felt a strong need to do something to help North Koreans. I want to join TNKR, because I want to be able to help in any way possible, to better the lives of North Koreans. Although for now I’m not able to tutor, due to my age and location, I hope that after a few years that would be possible!
