We Are Family

Timothy's Ministry is a Christian non-for profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Your gift will be used to help us purchase quality food, coffee, and supplies needed to serve delicious, all-you-can-eat, home-cooked hot meals 2 - 3 times each week at Tim's House (serving approximately 7,000 meals including take-home meals each year). Additionally we offer financial assistance for housing and other needs, transportation (providing 2000+ ventra cards each year), clothing, blankets, warm coats, and so much more. Timothy's Ministry is a family and Tim's House is a warm place for people to gather and enjoy fellowship, delicious home-cooked food, receive clothing (including sleeping bags, backpacks, blankets, and a variety of clothing items), and also enjoy a time of opening the Bible and praying together. We love celebrating birthdays each week with cake and candles and singing!

Since the beginning of 2021, we have helped individuals step out of homelessness into housing, helped others maintain their housing by assisting with money toward rent, helped with medical expenses, and also paid for emergency housing (a hotel) for several individuals when the temperature became extremely cold...and we hope and pray to continue to help in this way always. Your donation makes it possible for us to continue to love people and be a family for those who are often alone in this world. People tell us this is a place where they experience peace and where they feel real hope and love, sometimes for the first time...and that could only come from God! Thank you!

Tim's House is our day center for the homeless open Thursdays and Fridays. We opened our doors in January 2011 to people struggling with homelessness. Most of our original guests were referred to us from our Timothy's Ministry luncheons, but many new people have joined us since that time who have been invited by visitors of Tim's House. It is amazing to hear that many people travel 1 1/2 - 2 hours to get to Tim's House and have commented that it is wonderful to come to a place where they feel loved and welcomed! We pray together around a table and encourage one another. Your donation will help us give more food, supplies and assistants to our friends who struggle with homelessness.
